I have booked with and also referred friends to this lovely wife/husband team boutique agency trips over several years. I can not speak highly enough of their expertise and ability to accurately read the needs and desires of each group and fit that to spectacular itineraries, locations, tours, guides, accommodations, and attractions. They are dynamic and can work with almost any scale from couples travel to large family trips.

They booked a perfect honeymoon to Belize for my wife and I. They took care of a honeymoon gift registry and booked every aspect of our multiple location romantic adventure. Our second booking was for a large family wedding in Playa del Carmon Mexico. They booked everything including flights from a variety of locations in the US to Mexico, airport transfers and accommodation. They helped us plan the beachfront wedding ceremony as well. Our trip to Belize was the perfect combination of relaxation and adventure. Each excursion was lead by patient, competent, personable and knowledgable folks. We loved the fishing, BBQ and snorkeling trip - what a treat to eat just caught fish on a beautiful island. Our inland jungle zip lining, cave tubing and naturalist hike was like no other. Nicolai is now a legend in our house. All the staff we encountered that day from Tropic Air to the zip lining staff to John the Mayan, Nicolai's cave tubing helper. I really appreciated all the anecdotal information about Belize Nicolai shared while driving to and from the jungle.

Rachel, we appreciated all your restaurant recommendations and especially for selecting us a great room at the Grand Caribe. The staff there from the poolside service to the concierge were all friendly and helpful.

We like to travel and tend to not repeat the same location for a vacation. However, I would certainly use Central America Journeys for another vacation. We are a family of 7 coming from different location at different times and Rachel handled it all with amazing professionalism, responsiveness and grace. I started way late in making the request and it was over the Christmas holiday, of all times!

She found two wonderful accommodations in two different parts of the country to include all of the transfers for 5 separate journeys. It was seamless. We were able to see different areas of CR to allow for diversity. She is such an expert on Costa Rica that she could give us suggestions and make arrangements once I passed them through our group.

Another wonderful part was that she kept in touch with us while on our trip. Making sure things were going well and asking if there was anything we needed.
