I had a pretty good morning at the Fort Churchill Cooling Ponds today. I managed to catch and release 12 largemouth bass with a couple of good ones and some dinks as well. I managed to catch my third Nevada Trophy Largemouth Bass of the year this morning out at the Fort Churchill Cooling Ponds in Yerington Nevada this morning. This girl weighed 7lbs 3oz and was 23" long. The number of fish isn't high, but the quality of fish is amazing. #fortchurchillcoolingponds #nevadafishing #nevadabass #gloomis #shimano #berkleypowerworm #truturnhooks #catchandrelease #largemouthbass

A great place to spent the summer...BBQ'S and all the fun that comes with it...camping, fishing and camp fires to roast marshmallows and hotdogs...clean restrooms, showers. Whether your in a huge motorhome or camping in a tent, it's a great place to have fun and they ARE pet friendly. All around summer fun...I highly recommend this place to have fun and th fishing is usually...
