Hi All, I finally made it to the Rockchuck Gem and Mineral Gallery yesterday... WOW, this is a very cool place indeed! :-)
They have a nice jewellery selection including Native and custom pieces... no el-cheapo bs.
The store is large enough for a few big families and is laid out very well.
There is a variety of useful books to purchase as you shop for your perfect piece (or collections) and most everything is clearly labeled so a new guy like me can find his way around pretty easily.
There is a HUGE variety of polished, natural and several custom cut pieces of... I think every stone known to man!
HONESTLY, I WAS NOT READY FOR THIS AWESOME SURPRISE. LOL
The owners John and Chelsea were friendly and quite helpful, the prices were also fairly reasonable as well and no sticker shock to be wary of.

There was a sign posted on the door (through which you could see all kinds of nifty things!) asking customers to call one of two numbers for assistance. The first number I called wasn't in service, and the second went to voice mail. Twice. I'm disappointed because I would have liked to have done some shopping there and truly the store looked chock full of interesting and unusual things. But without a way to get customers in the store and without sticking to posted hours, I'm not sure what else...
