Bargain City — Local services in York

Some Coworkers and I are hosting a benefit to raise money for another coworkers mother's funeral cost. we were needing food trays and have been calling around everywhere to find the best prices. I call 2 days in a row to see if they had some and was told she is busy and cant check at the moment which is completely understandable. I asked if i can leave my name & phone # to call me when she slows down, explain to her why i was needing them and i am told " Nope sorry i will forget to call you back i cant do that". I have worked in customer service for years and i also understand how hectic things can get. I've been shopping here for quite a while and the prices on some things are great but I think I will be going back to paying full price at the regular grocery store. When I went to checkout the owner/manager said to the cashier,"u have another varmint". .referring to me. I guess he thinks of all his customers as wild mischievous animals and pests. I spend about 30 dollars a week there in an at attempt to save money since prices are going up nationwide. Apparently they don't need any additional business if they think that low of their present customers. I've never really felt welcomed when I've went inside..no greeting or even a smile. I am not sure why it has taken me so long to write a review for Bargain City. Maybe because I wanted to keep it a secret and not share all the great deals. Maybe it is because the people there treat me so well. Not sure, but I am outing them today as the best kept secret in York County. Great deals, great people and the thing I like most is honest opinion on what they are selling. I asked on a product and she said, her husband loved it, but she wasn't a fan.
