Extra Space Storage — Local services in York

This is a review of the facility in Cape Neddick, Maine. Last week when I visited, it was just as I recall it from when I rented there a few years ago when it was under other management: clean, spacious, and convenient, with very professional service! The office seems even better appointed and welcoming than during my previous rental period.

The store manageer, Sofviea, was friendly, patient, and efficient, and made suggestions about placement of storage, and other storage appointments. It was very much appreciated, along with her taking the time to show me 3 units of different sizes, and a size chart to help me find the best fit for me in a storage unit. Without a charge, she even put a week's hold on the unit I was interested in. I was very pleased with the unit, the reasonable cost, and the service. I also appreciated the reminder emails Sofviea sent about the benefits of the storing with ExtraStorage. Although I decided not to move back to that area (which is why I scouted out a storage space rental), Sofviea's thoughtfulness in trying to find the best match for me was deeply appreciated. We chose the Extra Space facility because they had ground floor climate controlled interior facing units in multiple sizes and all steel and concrete structure. Facility was clean with roller carts and drop lighting available in hallways. they also provide a pad lock on the unit before moving in, so you have it available if you need it (or return to the office). That saved me from buying and helped with moving in outside of business hours. Exterior is well lit, secure and easy to access. We are long standing renters of two large units from 2012 to present. We had the pleasure of working with Jeff Currier, Store Manager at the Cape Neddick, ME facility in June. His customer service was stellar, he is a true professional from speaking with him on the phone then meeting him in person, we were very impressed with his listening and communication skills.
