I bought 3/4 of a cow in April of 2018 and Dixon meats was used to process the meat. I received a call from them yesterday after 3 years that they finally found the remaining 100 or so pounds of meat that they did not realize they had from my order. Over 3 years!!! I questioned them about the weight at the time of the order and I was assured multiple times they had no more meat in their freezer for me. Now they expect me to take meat that is 3 years old and be happy. No refund, no replacement for their mistake. Their solution, is that I should have complained to them more at the time…. Read moreBought a 1/4 cow from a family friend and had it cut at Dixons. Every cut is covered beyond belief with bone dust and there is zero consistency to the cuts. You may get one steak that’s 1.5” thick and one that is 3/4”, If you’re lucky you’ll get maybe one or two steaks that are cut evenly out of the entire order. I asked multiple times that I get marrow bones back along with the fat, liver, and heart. The liver, heart, and bones were missing but they did get them for me when I questioned it.
