Since 2020, this park has been managed by a new company. This place has gone downhill since. This place took five (5) years to build a new pool, 3 to renovate the clubhouse that didn't need renovating, meanwhile the rent checks still had a portion go towards them. The new managers run this place like an HOA or strict apartment complex. Residents can only park in spaces marked as 'resident parking,' but you have to get approved to PAY for a space. If those are full, and they are because there's only a few, there's parking in the grungy back with an out-of-date asphalt and no security. Visitors get more parking than the people that actually live here, if a resident tries to park there they could get towed. No parking on the streets, yet the managers and their construction trucks can. There's been many times the construction on the pool has blocked the main street. Also, the service announcements have incorrect grammar and aren't reviewed at all.
Before 2020, this place was alright. The manager didn't know how to talk to people, but the assistant managers were nice and kept the office/whole park clean. The clubhouse was nice. While it was sort of outdated with cracks in the walls, it was straight out of the 1960s and I enjoyed seeing the history of the pool table room and old championship trophies, I adored the white bricks and comfy sofas. The TV had VHS tapes and had 5 channels lol, good times. The pool was nice, though the floor was rough and needed a cleaning. I enjoyed the clubhouse and pool. You could park in any clubhouse space, or on the street until 10pm. Felt like your rent went somewhere.
This place has changed for the worst and I hope someday it will improve as more and more people are buying mobile homes with...
Read moreLet's start with the good. For such a big trailer park it's very well maintained. All road lamps and common area lights are always working. The roads are nice and wide and have no vehicle damaging pot holes. The place to take your trash is always clean. No graffiti. No giant patches of weeds. I've only ever seen one guy driving around in his golf cart fixing things from time to time. Don't know his name but he is doing an outstanding job. And now the bad. One way in, one way out. If we had to evacuate we might run into an issue. There are 200+ trailers here I think but only guest parking for around 20. Most homes can only fit one car in the driveway. If you park on the street after 10pm they will tow your vehicle. The closest parking for after 10pm is Stator Brothers and that's about a half mile away. The manager is extremely rude, unhelpful and has no idea how to deal with people. There is also something very eerie about this place. There never seems to be any wind or breeze. It's very quiet most of the day.... Too quiet. No birds chirping, no kids playing... Just dead silence. Last but not least, for a trailer park named "Lakeview" not a single...
