Incompetent and Unaccountable, NEVER EVER USE

The reader can come to their own conclusions regarding this review but after this experience I have decided it is better to purchase from the big box stores as opposed to locally because the former will at least be accountable for their actions and thus for any mistake on their part they will cover the costs.

My mother was having a remolding job done and needed new cabinetry to replace what was being ripped out, the contractor recommended Modern Builder’s Supply to provide the cabinets. Modern Builder’s Supply had one of their employees measure and then subsequently sent over two more employees (one being Shelly) to view the area where the cabinets would be installed. The cabinets turned out to be sized incorrectly and could not be used as the handles on the doors of perpendicular units would collide and prevent them from fully opening. As the cabinets had not yet been installed and clearly the supplier screwed up one would think they would take them back but no this return was denied by Shelly.

I want to make an additional comment here to illustrate the difference between this place and Lowe’s. My mom needed cabinetry for another project about one year prior to this event. Lowe’s had made a mistake and sent the wrong units. I contacted the CEO of Lowe’s and they immediately fixed everything free of charge.
