We arrived at Kagan train station at 01:38 am and it was pretty dark. Fortunately, it was not too cold, so were moving easy and happy to the exit. We found the driver and headed to the parking. The parking is terrible as everyone parked his own way forgot about other people and cars…. In few days we came back to head for Samarkand. Same shit on the parking lot. I can’t understand why can’t they make clear, accurate parking. If the drivers are crazy and can’t think of normal parking, then there is administration who must provide the correct rules and teach them correct parking. We passed the control and waited in the lobby. They have CIP hall for departure for 4usd, but it wasn’t as attractive as in Urgench train station. It’s nice they have Sofia café here where you can get good coffee and cookies. They have free WiFi that works. The WC is terrible… especially after I visited Japan… If you see the photo, you can see how people do their work here, they just do what the are told, no need to think of what they are doing or told to do… (( The Afrosiyob train is good, but again, after Japanese trains plain rides this ride is terrible, you just keep jumping each second and can’t calmly work on...

The station itself is typical of an Uzbek passenger train station - simple, bright, tall ceilings, clean.
There is a lone massage chair where you can relax some of those muscles before/after a...
