Buon's Garden — Local services in Buon Ma Thuot

The homestay owners (Chị Thảo and Anh Hãi) came pick us up at the bus terminal upon our arrival. We directly connected as they are so welcoming. The homestay consists of 5 separate tiny houses for the guests. The owners live in their ancient house typical of the E Đe style.

Chị Thảo and Anh Hãi gave us very interesting tips on what to visit in Buôn Ma Thuột area. Upon their advise we stopped at Aeroco Specialty Coffee Farm managed by a passionate producer. If one is a coffee lover this is the place to visit in Buôn Ma Thuột. They also advised us to eat at Arul restaurant which serves traditional E Ðe food. All ordered dishes were delightfully delicious.

What we enjoyed most however were the precious moments shared with the owners family. Our discussions around the delicious evening meals cooked by Chị Thảo made our stay memorable. We felt like we were part of their family. We still are in contact with them even if our journey in Vietnam is coming to its end.

We needed to get away from the hectic traffic and lifestyle in HCMC and Buon’s Garden in BMT is the perfect place to decompress. This family farm, although smaller in scale, makes up for the grand hospitality provided by Thao and Hai. From the little touches as the fresh pandan leaves to fragrance the room, to the delicious BBQ dinner with other guests. Thao introduced us to a durian seller just a short walk away and the tree ripen durians are the tastiest in Vietnam, at 1/5 the price in HCMC. Really recommend if you're not afraid of nature sounds and looking for a peaceful place. It might look far away but just take 10' driving to reach the center. The housekeeper is friendly and supportive. There's a common space and kitchen with full of appliances. The room is clean, it has private toilet, hot water and air...
