Honestly I’m really disappointed with this place. My family and I stumbled upon Mega Market while we were on vacation to pick up some aprons because she couldn’t find any lightweight ones in America. At the entrance, the receptionists asked us to give them any backpacks or purses that we had, which I found strange, since other stores don’t do that, but I complied anyway and gave them my backpack. And I was the only one that gave them anything. In return, one receptionist that was standing behind a desk gave us a card with the number of our locker (I assume). As we entered, we noticed that there were barely any customers, even though the store was massive and in the heart of the city, too. When browsed around, everything seemed uninteresting and didn’t have a nice selection, so we didn’t buy anything. When we headed back to the front about 15 minutes later, checking back with the same receptionist we saw when we initially entered. My mum gave the receptionist (let’s call her R) our card (which SHE gave us) but R and some other workers deadpanned to us that we needed to walk all the way around the store and enter through the entrance again in order to get my one backpack. Mind you, there’s no security reason for this, and the entrances are basically across the store from each other. Also, they literally saw us 15 minutes ago. We asked R why, because we had our card, and didn’t buy anything either. R and everyone else just said that we had to do it while making excuses, not telling us why nor having any reason for this ridiculous command. So in the end, this store was not only boring and deserted, but it also had the utmost stupidest and unnecessary rules while having horrible customer service. My wife and I was browsing the baby diaper section (only about an hour from the time this review was written) when an employee in her late 40’s and early 50’s came by and ask my wife if she open the bag. My wife explained that the diaper bag was previously opened already by someone else and that she was merely reaching in to take a look at the diaper. You know what she does next?! She actually stood there in front of my wife and radio in to check the camera to see if it was really my wife that opened the package or not. If you want return customer , you don’t embarrassed them that way. You could at least call that in discreetly without the customer there.
