Talking about famous tourist destinations in Vietnam, I immediately thought of Sapa. Sapa is a town in Sapa district. Due to its location in the mountains, Sapa has cool weather in the summer. This is also a feature that many tourists impress and want to come to Sapa in the summer to experience. The cold of Sapa makes tourists feel excited. In addition to the cool climate, Sapa is also very attractive with the immense beauty of the mountains and hills. Green hills hide behind each layer of mist. The people here are extremely friendly. When I first arrived in Sapa, I was able to eat at a local’s house. We gathered together by the stove, eating together and chatting. If you have come to Sapa, it is impossible not to visit the top of Fansipan – a famous place in Sapa. Looking down from above, you will not help but admire this peaceful land. If given the chance, I would love to return to Sapa to feel the comfort it brings. Sapa weather is cool and chilly at night. This is considered an ideal place to avoid heat for tourists when summer comes. Sapa is very attractive with the immense beauty of the mountains and hills. There are many hotels and villas in Sapa which were built in the classical Europe style. In Sapa, there are some famous places you should visit such as Sapa Heaven Gate, Sapa Ancient Church, Ham Rong Mountain, Fansipan Legend, Muong Hoa Valley, and Bac Waterfall. Of the places above, I am most impressed with Fansipan mountain. From the top of Fansipan mountain, you can see Sa Pa at an altitude of more than 3000m, and admire the overlapping mountains of Sapa hidden in the white clouds. Sapa is home to many ethnic minorities, and the people here are simple, homely, and hospitable. The local cuisine here is very special. Some dishes my family and I have eaten there are Thang Co, Lam rice, and grilled stream fish. When we returned, we also bought wild honey and chestnuts as gifts for relatives and friends.
I will always remember Sapa – a peaceful “city in the mist” with homely people. I hope to have the opportunity to come back to visit Sapa soon. If you have the opportunity to travel, do not forget...
