Pre-covid, Mupedza Nhamo was a convenient place to get your pre-loved clothes.

Currently it is closed, except for those selling herbs and crafts. However the whole area surrounding the market has people selling 2nd hand clothes. They lay them flat on the ground for you to pick and try. The only problem is that they are not allowed to be selling with the current lockdown restrictions. So once in a while the police can launch an ambush which is hectic. There's no safe parking either. The intersecting roads are very busy, which makes it impossible to park safely. Finally, it's not so nice buying you 2nd hand Gucci on the roadside because everyone driving past, can see you. If you have a problem with this, then I don't recommend the market. However it's still a big cultural hub. If you're visiting Harare then definitely visit the market...
