SPAR Bridge — Local services in Harare

Was absolutely dissapointed with the service at Groombridge Spar today. They are presently running a promotion where a certain number of stickers earns you a pot/pan. Being the loyal customer that i am, i purchased some groceries yesterday and as i was rushing for a business meeting due to the long queue that was there to collect stickers and redeem pots, i could not continue waiting after having queued for 10 or so minutes. Returned to the store today and was told i could not get any stickers due to the rules of the competition where stickers are to be collected the same day of purchase, and i honestly was not aware of this. Was referred to the shop manager called 'TK' who gave me some explanation of 'the same day purchases needing to balance with stickers issued on the same day' 🤣🤣It begged the question of who had been allocated the stickers for the purchases for groceries i had not collected the previous day? And being in the service industry, how do you penalise your customers for not knowing the rules of a competition. I honestly felt this was a case of treating customers unfairly and personally for me, I will no longer view SPAR the same way, let alone remain...

5 star supermarket If you need any food or drinks when you are in Mt Pleasant, this is the best place for prices bar none! Prices are much cheaper here and all the locals use this supermarket. Good choice and great prices make this No 1 Supermarket in town. Plenty of snacks and groceries to purchase for your stay or travels in Harare. It is what it is! A lot cheaper than eating out in Harare. Great selection of Fruits and vegetables, yogurts. We bought some chicken and pasta for dinner and that turned out to be the best meal we had during our stay in Mt Pleasant. We didn’t bring any nice clothing and we were tired from our all day adventures so we didn’t really give fine dining a try, but the casual restaurants/cafes that we went to were a huge disappointment (and expensive). The store carries a nice selection of produce, fish, meats, and snacks in addition to toiletries, etc. Somehow they have a wide selection of chocolates. Their local chocolates taste very unique. Don't go home without them! In short, you can find almost anything you need here and the price is reasonable. Several locations in city center. There is Plenty of parking space outside...
