Kuimba Shiri Bird Park is definitely a place to enjoy and relax. A place to get away for the day or (even better) the weekend. It boasts beautiful lake side scenery for you to enjoy giving you the chance to create some worth while family memories(perfect for photos). The service is good and the food is amazing, worth the money. LOVED the steak and chips! The owners are so kind and helpful, always willing to have a friendly chat. They have an amazing amount of knowledge about all the birds and give amazing advice about handling them. They have a personal interest in their animals. Its not just work to them. They have just finished with a new children's play area, which now has a boat for the kids to play in... They are always improving things! There is even a pool for the little ones, a nice depth for them to swim in. There is a bird show in the afternoons where they fly a handful of birds and tell you about them, and you can even take the family on boat rides, go fishing and of course go for bird walks! I really really enjoyed my time there with my family and friends, and I will...

Our waiter was attentive and helpful Varying dishes were ordered, I had a Hamburger and chips, others had Steak and Chips, half chicken and chips and Pizzas. Clean plates all round. A nice filter coffee for me, Cappuccinos and milkshakes for the others. We wondered through the bird park where we had an opportunity to see a close up birds normally only visible at a distance through binoculars - African Fish Eagle, several Owls and a number of birds of prey. The birds were in good condition and the aviary well maintained. Sadly we had to leave before the flying demonstration. An easy drive from Harare on the...
Read moreBeautiful location and worthwhile cause for rescued birds. Unfortunately the service is terrible in terms of both speed and accuracy with our order. My burger was well below par with them clearly having run out of burger buns so I was served instead with HALF a hot dog bun. And they certainly take advantage of a captive audience having paid first Nat parks and their own entrance fee you're then stiffed with exhorbitant prices for drinks with a coke that's 70c in town costing $2 and a beer that costs 90c charged at $3. I'd understand a normal mark up but this is just greed that has spoiled the experience for us and won't be going back until we...
