It's unfortunate that this place is not well known. Preslav is a major contributor to Slavic and Christian history in europe. Also a major player with the Byzantine and Ottoman empires. This place is still being excavated. It's not well labeled what is reconstruction and what is original. However, still very fascinating and hopefully the site continues to be developed over the next 100 years. Very historically significant location. Some minor safety hazards - steps that may come loose and easy to fall off high places - just be mindful.

Real medieval fortress. Old capital of Bulgaria. Looks like there was something in ancient Roman times too. Though quite destroyed. If you're going to visit this place, consider looking through the program of events. There are several events over the year which local history reconstructors provide. They get dressed up in historical costumes. Arms, swords, arrows, parchment, medieval food and everything of that kind. Without them, the place is not so interesting.

Came here during winter time and not sure whether it’s somehow normal that no one actually looking after the place. It’s pretty rich history behind while reading all the information provided from the signboards. Though it could’ve been better if someone attending and ready to assist you with guide so you can read further while walking towards to each site. A great place to visit when you’re around the area. Great sign as well as how old Bulgaria is.

The old capital of the first Bulgarian empire, along with the mythical Golden church just outside the city walls. The ticket includes also a visit to the museum where you can enter the vault and see the golden treasures and also artefacts and models of the church If you want to feel the greatness of the secondmost powerfull city in Europe by the time of the 8th century be suer not to miss it!

Loved it! Typical Balkan archeological site with no guides, no ropes barring you from touching, and really no rules at all. You're allowed to walk, climb and see as you wish.
The entry is 6 lev (3 usd) per person and covers all 3 sites and the museum.
There a small cafe with beer and soft drinks.
Plenty of cherry trees to snack on fresh cherries during spring and summer.

Lovely place, stunning nature, it has lots of turtles, lilies and fish to see. There's a restaurant there too, but we never went inside, so not sure about the quality of the food and services. The place is suitable for children, but you have to be a bit more vigilant, as there are places that are not that safe. You can park very close to the lake. Alongside Borovo Oko there are benches where you can sit and enjoy the view or you can walk around the trees in the nearby forest. There is a playground not far from it too. If you are coming from the town centre, you can come to the lake by car or walking.

Прекрасно място с много зеленина, прохлада идваща от водата, чисти и поддържани алеи. Кътчета за детски игри и забавления, пейки за отдих и най-вкусната вода (чешмички) за пиене! Много зареждащо и енергийно място! А който е гладен може да похапне вкуна и прясна храна в ресторанта, който се намира на единия бряг на езерото и да се позабавлява и наслади на компанията на любопитните водни костенурки!

Lokasyon ve fiyat olarak iyi bazı ürünlere nazaran fakat köfte ve kebabçe başarızdı patates kızartması üzerine olan peynir yok denecek kadar azdı ! nerede o eski pirjeni kartofi s sereni dersin kebabpçe ve köfteler tam sıcak değildi kuru bir etti üstüne 45 dk sonra sipariş geldi böylesine güzel mekan bu kadar ucuz işçilik ile bir yere kadar

Местенцето е много приятно и удобно за разходки и каране на колело. Направена е пътека около езерото, която позволява да се обиколи и види цялото. Има много пейки и местенца за почивка. Езерото бъка от живот! Има много риби, жаби и костенурки. Поддържано и направено с желание. Другите общини могат да взимат пример!

Проблемът е как да се стигне до там: Намира се близко до пътя Варна-София, от северната му страна. Ако идвате от Варна: Няколко километра след края на Търговище, на скалите има статуя на конник. Около 150 метра след подминаване на конника, веднага в дясно, непосредствено преди началото на мантинелата, има стар път. Отбивате под него, карате около 200 метра и сте на поляната пред водопада.
Ако идвате от София: Стигате до паркинга на крайпътното заведение Боаза. Около 150 метра надолу по главния път, мантинелата свършва и точно като свърши, завийте наляво по стар път.
Възможно е да се остави колата на паркинга на заведението /достатъчно е голям/ и до водопада да се отиде пеш.

Божествен дар от Майката Природа !Навигациятa от Google Maps до самия водопад е перфектна.От отбивката на пътя през "БОАЗА" между гр.Търговище и с.Пролаз до самия ВОДОПАД, е въпрос на трезва преценка от водача на МПС,дали не е по-добре да продължи пеша 10-ина минути,поради тесния, някога асфалтов път,осеян днес с няколко наистина сериозни дупки.Другият проблем ,както на много райски кътчета в България,са "автографите",оставени от ония нарицателни 80% ...Приятни мигове на всички,които имат очи за красотата около нас !

Водопадът се намира се по пътя Търговище - Омуртаг вдясно, малко след крепостта Мисионис и до него се стига много лесно с автомобил. Можете да спрете колата горе до пътя (има отбивка, която лесно можете да пропуснете, така че карайте по-бавно) и да се спуснете надолу по пътеката (има табела/стрелка с надпис "РИБА"), след 5 до 10 минути сте долу при водопада. Самият водопад е достъпен и с кола, но трябва да е по-висока. Има възможност да си направите пикник. Приятно място за разходка сред природата.
