این غاردر خط ساحلی جنوبی جزیره قشم واقع شده. این طوره که شما پس از خرید بلیط وارد محوطه میشید و چند قدم جلو تر پله هایی رو میبینید که برای دیدن غار ها باید از اون ها بالا برید. غار های خوربس یا خربس تاریخش برمیگرده به دوران اشکانیان و ساسانیان که عده معتقدند محلی برای نگهداری آزوغه بوده ولی خب سند خیلی محکمی برای این موضوع وجود نداره. فضای داخل غار ها که فکر میکنم نهایتا ۵۰ متر باشن از جذابت بالایی بر خورداره و اگر در غار ها چشم بچرخونید در دل دیواره ها فسیل های سخت پوستان رو میبینید که نشان از یک تاریخ چند هزار ساله دتره. به عقیده برخی از محققین هم این ممان در کذشته های خیلی دور محل پرستش آناهیتا (خدای آب) بوده ولی اکنون قسمت بالایی این غار تبدیل به یک قبرستان شده. فقط حواس تون باشه اکر میاید اینجا با کتونی بیاید تا راحت تر بتونید بچرخید. در ضمن پس از ورود به محوطه در سمت راست کوهی که در مقابل تون قرار داره، دالان هایی رو میبینید که فاقد ارزش تاریخی هستند و مسیر اصلی از سمت چپ کوه آغاز میشه. در کل کاملا سلیقه ایه ولی من این مکان رو دوست داشتم.

If you have a few minutes to spare, Khorbas Caves are interesting from a geological interest. Most tour guide will stop there if you ask. There is plenty of parking available. The park is kept very clean and tidy. There is a bit of uphill walking involved and if you are claustrophobic it may be a bit uncomfortable. Nonetheless the caves offer a beautiful vista of the island coastline (specially in the afternoon).
The park is closed during rain because of the danger of falling rocks.

در پانزده کیلومتری شهر قشم، در مسیر راهی که به منطقه باستانی خربز یا خربس و سپس به بندر سوزا منتهی می شه، یک رشته کوه طولانی وجود داره که در دل آن معماری صخره ای شگفتی قرار داره. ورود به این فضای صخره ای از طریق روزنه های غار مانندی ممکنه که تعداد آن ها به نُه روزن در سه ردیف می رسه. در ریف بالا شش، در حاشیهٔ وسط دو و در پایین یک روزن تعبیه شده .این غارها که از پدیده های کهن زمین شناختی به شمار می رن همراه با دیگر پدیده ها و کوه ها و خود جزیره قشم دنباله چین خوردگی های رشته کوه های زاگرس هستن که در هزاره های گذشته از زیر آب بیرون اومدن. این غارها از درون با مجموعه دهلیزها وتالارها و اتاق های متعدد و چشمه ها و روزنه های گوناگونی که رو به شمال و جنوب قرار دارن، مؤید حضور مردمانی از دوران های کهن در این جزیره هستند. پیداست که دست آدمیان به مرور زمان و به منظورکاربردهای گوناگون شکل و سیمای این غارها و دیواره های آنها رو دگرگون ساخته و مناسب نیازهای خود در آورده. در پشت روزنه ها، تالاری در دل صخره و سنگ حفر شده. سقف تالار مسطحه. این تالار محل به جای آوردن مراسم مذهبی ویژه ای برای بزرگداشت درگذشتگان، و به احتمال بسیار قوی مرکز پرستش «ایزدمهر» یا «میترا» بوده. بررسی اجمالی و جزئیات داخلیش، نشانگر احداث آن در دوره مادهاست. هم جواری این محل با شهر باستانی خربس نشون می ده که در دوره مادها یه تمدن بزرگ پیشرفته در جزیره قشم وجود داشته.
