Breathtaking village! Imlil is truly one of the best places I've visited in Morocco. Having explored many corners of this beautiful country, Imlil captivated me with its rich culture, stunning views, and the warm hospitality of its people. Nestled in the High Atlas Mountains, the village offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and cultural immersion. Whether you're trekking through the Atlas Mountains, experiencing Berber traditions, or simply enjoying the serene atmosphere, Imlil has something for every traveler. Don't miss the chance to discover this hidden gem when visiting Morocco

No visit to Morocco is complete without a stay in Imlil. The Berber people are so welcoming and accommodating, determined to ensure that you will love your time here. Visit the waterfalls, the panorama cafe on the col, and hire a guide for the many wonderful walks. Sleep at 1850m, hike anywhere up to 4200m at Jebel / Mt Toubkal. Bring the usual boots, a hat, a warm layer for your stops and a windproof, plus sun cream, a camera and a relaxed mindset. Immerse yourself in the Berber culture and landscape - enjoy!

Did a hike through TripAdvisor, through the Imlil valley to the water fall. Our tour guide Mohamed Larbi was fantastic, very attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The hike was fun, interesting and insightful. Beautiful views and ended with a lovely lunch in a Berber villagers home, which was a wonderful experience. Highly recommend. Even better if you do a private small tour with only 1 family, enables you to personalise the experience to your requirements.

Busy but lovely and extremely friendly village with fantastic views to the valley and the mountains. By far this place was the highlight of my Moroccan holiday. Would highly recommend for anyone even if you're not a hiker or mountain climber Just a lovely place to hang and relax, go for a pleasant walk and enjoy the mountain air and the friendly vibe. Do take a qualified guide, even for a shorter hike, as they will enhance the experience.

We've start climbing at 4:30 am starting from imlil, we've reached the summit at 10:50 am. We took 1 hour at the summit to appreciate the view... then we went back to imlil.
As experience it was the hardest thing I've done since they were a lot of snow and freezing cold. But i enjoyed every single moment of it.
I suggest doing it in 2 or 3 days and spend the overnight at the refuge on top its not that easy to do it in 1 day.
