"Dim Sum" at Asian Cuisine Rijswijk in The Hague

😊As a die-hard dim sum lover, I came across a recommendation for this place in The Hague online. People have even called it the “best dim sum spot” – so of course, I had to try it out! 😊Summary: Not quite the best, with mixed quality on dishes. 😊Ordered a big spread, so let’s start with the good stuff: 😊Red Rice Rolls: Crispy skin, very tasty. Shrimp Dumplings: Big and filled with fresh, tender shrimp. Stir-Fried Beef Ho Fun: Honestly, the best dish we had! 🥢 Now for the letdowns: 😊Shrimp Paste Water Spinach: Lacked that strong shrimp paste flavor, though the water spinach itself was good. Turnip Cake: My dim sum must-have, but sadly disappointing – the surface was burnt rather than perfectly crispy, leaving a bitter taste (but the chili oil on the table was quite good). 😊Roast Duck and Char Siu Combo: The roast duck was decent, but the char siu was a bit tough and dry. Chicken Feet: Quite disappointing – I only ate one. It wasn’t tender enough, and the meat didn’t come off the bone easily, making it hard to enjoy. Black Bean Pork Ribs: These were big, meaty ribs, but I prefer the smaller, bite-sized pieces. We ordered a lot and left very full, but there’s definitely room for improvement in the dishes overall. 🍽️ #DailyEats #FoodReview #DimSumTime #WeeklyFoodieCheck #EnjoyingLifeThroughFood
