"Sharing my life’s hiking moments 🇦🇺 Sunshine Coast, Queensland
Spent two weeks in Brisbane and explored all the nearby hiking trails—up the mountains, down to the sea. August weather in Queensland is just perfect! ☀️ 📍 Noosa National Park, Palm Grove Cct, Noosa Heads QLD 4567 (Search directly on Google Maps—only one parking lot 🅿️, plenty of spaces). 🗺️ Official map attached at the end👉🏻 We chose the Noosa Coastal Walk (Route along the coastline. If you have time, return via Route through the hills for a different view. 🕒 Coastal Walk: 6km round trip, took us 2 hours with stops. Super easy trail—no difficulty, just ocean views and beaches 🏖️. Over 50% shaded, well-maintained paths (mostly boardwalks, some dirt sections). Still, bring sunscreen and a hat for the afternoon sun! 🚗 1.5-hour drive from Brisbane (≈2hrs during morning rush). Recommend arriving in the afternoon—hike first, then relax on the beach for sunset 🌄 or explore the nearby resort town. Crowded but safe and chill, great for all ages. ⚠️ Heads-up (saw this on Google Reviews): Near the end of Route, Alexandria Beach has a steep descent to the shore… and it’s a nude beach. Decide for yourself whether to go down! Next up: Springbrook National Park—ancient rainforests + waterfall hikes. Stay tuned! #Hiking #SunshineCoast #QueenslandTravel #BrisbaneDayTrips #BrisbaneLife #ExploreBrisbane #HikeTheWorld #MyHikingDiary #AustraliaTravel"
