$20... Eat All the Best Dishes at Toronto's Awesome Spanish Tavern!

A brand-new Spanish tavern on Annex·Bloor Street, nestled in a container-like second floor, proud of its Tequila, Mezcal, and Cocktail selection. It's a pity that the geese have retired from the bar scene (otherwise, I would have definitely ordered a flight to taste them all 🌝). 🍽️ What really drew me in was the appetizers: Firstly, the prices... compared to any other Spanish tavern, they're just too low! All the mains are seafood or meat, with the most expensive dish not exceeding $22. The menu is concise, so there's no need for too much deliberation! First time here, I ordered these dishes!!! 🎉 🌟 Octopus A La Parrilla - $20! Two gigantic grilled octopus legs 😱 paired with baked potatoes. I've tried most of the grilled octopus in Toronto, but I've never had such a substantial serving. Each slice of octopus meat is thick, tender, and full of smoky flavor. I've never been so full that I couldn't finish it – such a blissful dilemma 🤭! 🌟 Casa Paella - $22! Seafood, sausage, and roasted pork paella! Served steaming hot, it's incredibly fragrant. Besides the large shrimp and mussels on top, the rice is packed with goodies – every bite is filled with squid, tender pork, and roasted sausage. It's outrageous how generous and delicious it is! 😲 🌟 Empanada - I've never seen a Spanish pie with salted codfish filling before. The crust is thin, and the filling is bursting with codfish. My sister loves it; two for $14, totally worth it! 🥳 🥳 Besides these three dishes, all the other mains are also under $20. It's insanely good value. 👫 Friends, go eat there! Enjoy a feast! 📍 Mezcalero - 509 Bloor St W, Toronto #TorontoFood #TorontoLife #SpanishTavern #LoveSeafood #SeafoodLovers #Spain #DiscoveringHiddenGems #MustVisitRestaurants
