[Las Vegas] A Taste of Spain Hidden in the Desert 🏜️🇪🇸
Fideuà Taste of Spain 📍 855 E Twain Ave #107, Las Vegas, NV 89169 👭 Price: 30–40 per person (I paid for my own meal, haha!) 🕯️ Vibe: Cozy Mediterranean bistro—perfect for dates or hanging out with friends! 🌟 Rating: 4.9 / 5 (I’d definitely come back!) 😊 🥘 What is Fideuà? Fideuà (pronounced “fee-day-WAH”) is a traditional dish from Valencia, Spain. It looks like a “short pasta version of paella”! Instead of rice, it uses short noodles (fideu) cooked in a rich seafood broth and loaded with goodies like mussels, squid, shrimp, and octopus. The flavor is even richer and more intense than classic paella—so delicious! 🦐🐙 ✅ What We Ordered (Highly Recommend!): 🍤 1. Sautéed Shrimp with Garlic, Onion & Parsley If you love garlic shrimp, you can’t miss this! The shrimp are super fresh and cooked just right—tender, not rubbery. The garlic flavor is strong but not overwhelming, and with onion and parsley, it’s seriously appetizing. Couldn’t stop eating these! 🍽️ 🍞 2. Oven Baked Bread & Aioli The bread comes out warm and toasty—crispy outside, soft inside. Dip it in their homemade garlic aioli… absolutely incredible! That sauce is the star—goes with everything! ✨ 🥘 3. Paella Mixta (Chicken + Seafood Paella) The main event! We got the mixed version with chicken and seafood. It’s packed with shrimp, mussels, squid, and chicken thighs. The best part? The rice soaks up all that rich seafood broth, and there’s socarrat (crispy bottom rice)!! So satisfying! ✔️ Made fresh to order—took about 25 minutes, but totally worth the wait! ⸻ 🍷 Tips: • Share one paella + a few tapas between two people—portions are generous! • If you prefer milder flavors, let the server know—they can adjust the seasoning. It’s a family-run spot! The owner grew up in China and later lived in Spain for over 20 years. She fluently switches between English, Chinese, and Spanish—so impressive! 👍🏻 After your meal, you can visit the Sphere—you can even see it from the window seats!
