[Paris] Dining Guide Part 2 - NAKATANI 🍴

A one-Michelin-star restaurant, the chef, like the restaurant's name, is Japanese, which can be understood as a more natural French cuisine. Coming to France, I've found that chefs are not all French, and each chef has their own interpretation of French cuisine. 🌿 Environment: It's indeed a mix of Japanese and French styles, with a minimalist aesthetic and pure white restaurant decor. Located on a small street with many Japanese restaurants, the sign is particularly inconspicuous; if not for the address, I would have definitely missed it. 📅 Fully Reserved System: This is very Japanese as well. Fully reserved system, private kitchen, only two different menu sets each day, just choose. Reservations are 155 euros per person, excluding wine. You can mention allergies and dietary habits in advance to avoid the inconvenience of the chef having to change dishes for me because I don't eat fish. I apologize for that. Six dishes: Standard French six-dish meal, actually around 12 courses, with a total of five tables, no table turnover, and the meal takes 3 hours to finish. 🍄 Appetizers: The appetizer was a fried snack, possibly with truffle and mango sauce? I'm not quite sure. The soup was excellent! Served hot, it warmed up a rainy day in Paris. There was a pear 🍐 and roasted hazelnut pudding dessert, which was amazing! This restaurant also has a natural touch, with vegetables in every dish, such as water bamboo shoots, asparagus, and flower leaves, very refreshing. 🥗 Main Courses: The red vegetable and foie gras were incredibly delicious! The foie gras was super tender! Since I don't eat fish, a fish dish was replaced with beef, thank you! There were several mushroom dishes, a main course of tender beef, all great! 🍮 Desserts: I loved this pudding the most; the taste was very harmonious, I wonder if there was some soy in it, rich yet refreshing! Each dessert was not too sweet, superb! #AtmosphereRestaurant #FrenchCuisine #HiddenGemSharing #France
