🇨🇦 First Meal of Summerlicious | Trying Mediterranean Cuisine

For my first Summerlicious 2025 experience, I tried Lume's dinner menu—$45/person for three satisfying courses! Starters: 🔸 Black Tiger Shrimp A classic appetizer with smoky cocktail sauce and lemon. The shrimp 🦐 were fresh and bouncy, lightly seasoned—perfect for those who prefer milder flavors. 🔸 Lume Brussel Sprouts Unexpectedly delicious! Roasted Brussels sprouts topped with hummus, bell peppers, pomegranate yogurt sauce, and a hint of spicy jalapeno dressing, finished with toasted walnuts—so much flavor in every bite! Mains: 🔸 Chicken Ballotine A new dish! Tender chicken thigh 🍗 stuffed with mushrooms and subtle sheep's milk cheese (warning for those who dislike this flavor!). Served with creamy mashed potatoes and seasonal veggies. Solid combo! 🔸 Iron Steak The steak 🥩 came with the same sides (mashed potatoes + veggies). The meat was decent—not mind-blowing but reliable. A safe choice! Desserts: 🔸 Lemon Blueberry Tart A pleasant surprise! 🍋 The lemon curd was perfectly tart (not too sweet), and the blueberry sauce tasted homemade. The Chantilly cream was light and airy—way better than heavy store-bought versions! 🔸 Strawberry Romanoff Classic combo of strawberries 🍓 + vanilla ice cream 🍦, but with a twist—the berries were boozy-marinated! Sweet, tangy, and refreshing—a great summer finale. 📍 Lume 💰 Summerlicious Set: $45/person (dinner) #TorontoEats #TorontoLife #TorontoFoodie #SummerliciousTO #TorontoFood #TorontoRestaurants #FoodDiary #WeekendVibes #DowntownToronto
