The Renowned Nobu Has Finally Arrived in Toronto! 🌟🍣

Just opened 2 weeks ago, and it's already fully booked until early September! I went down at 5:15 pm and managed a successful walk-in. However, walk-ins are only accommodated at the bar tables on the first floor; the upstairs dining area is reserved for reservations only, and the menu there is limited. 📅🍽️ Best Eats/Drinks: 🥃 The grapefruit cocktail on the rocks was the standout! Light and refreshing with a perfect blend of bitter and sweet grapefruit flavor. Then came the spinach 🥬 and crab tempura 🍤. They weren’t exceptional but were definitely the best of the limited options we had—like finding a gem in a rough crowd. Next was the Wagyu gyoza 🥟. Honestly, it was pretty average and didn’t hold a candle to the Wagyu sandwich I had in the UK 🥪. The Worst Dish: My beloved eggplant 🍆. I love eggplant so much that I order it at any restaurant that has it on the menu—whether it's fish-flavored eggplant, roasted eggplant, eggplant casserole, or Sautéed Potato, Green Pepper, and Eggplant (which also includes eggplant)… But with Nobu's big name and fully booked reservations, I wonder if maybe the kitchen for the first and second floors might be different 👨🏻‍🍳👩🏻‍🍳. It’s worth investigating 👀. #Ambiance #Cuisine #GlobalFoodies #TorontoEats #TorontoDTRestaurants #MichelinRestaurantReview
