📍 ​​Douglas Park Playground​​ 801 W 22nd Ave, Vancouver On our way downtown, we made a detour to this gem and it instantly became my favorite summer playground spot🛝 Perfect for burning off kids' energy while staying shaded from the sun - genius design!! The moment we arrived, the first thing we did was chase the Canada geese 🦢 These local birds are living their best lives, lounging on the grass like they own the place - such a peaceful summer vibe ☀️😌 This playground is perfectly designed for both toddlers and bigger kids: Multi-level wooden slides that are just the right height Adorable little treehouse that sparks imagination The most exciting rope bridge that wobbles delightfully with every step (kids went crazy for it!!) A super accessible zip line that even our 4-year-old mastered with glee 🪾 But the real star is the pristine lawn at Douglas Park - so soft and green 🌿 We pitched a tent🏕️ with our picnic blanket🧺 and could've easily napped there for hours (if the kids had let us!). Parking is easiest at the community center entrance - street parking is scarce.
