🇬🇧 Lavender Fields Near London: Castle Farm

July is the perfect month to see lavender in London! We visited Castle Farm, home to the UK's largest lavender fields. 🌟 Address: Castle Farm, Redmans Ln, Shoreham 🌟 Opening Hours: 9 AM - 5 PM (picnic area closes at 1 PM), late June to late July. 🌟 How to Get There: From central London, take a train to Eynsford and then a taxi (walking is 30 minutes but lacks proper sidewalks—not recommended). Alternatively, take a train to Otford and transfer to Bus #2 (only 2 buses per day—plan carefully!). 🌟 What to Expect: Four lavender fields, two open to the public. Field Walk (1-hour time limit): Wander freely and take photos (£7/adult). Guided Tour: Group entry with expert commentary (£15/adult). Picnic Area: Bring your own food and relax among the lavender (£14/adult, closes at 1 PM). Note: The picnic lavender is shorter than in other fields. 🌟 Tickets & Extras: Book online in advance, but walk-ins may be possible (we bought ours onsite!). The farm also has a lavender gift shop with oils, soaps, and more. #LavenderSeason #UKTravel #LondonDayTrips #SummerInEngland
