(Finally, A Restaurant That Doesn't Disappoint!!!)​​ OMG guys, I finally found a London restaurant that ACTUALLY lives up to the hype!!! 😭 After so many food fails (looking at you, XHS recommendations...), Morchella was a TOTAL breath of fresh air!!! 🌬️✨ The restaurant itself is GORGEOUS - sunlight streaming in makes it even more magical (why did I forget to take pics??? 😫). And get this - it was ALMOST FULL on a weekday lunch hour!!! That's how good it is!!! ​​Today's Menu Highlights (Main courses only had lamb, fish & pizza - bummer we missed other recommended dishes!)​​ But EVERY dish we ordered was FLAWLESS!!! The seasoning was surprisingly creative, and the salt level? Perfect (finally, no more Barrafina-level salt bombs!!! 😀) β€‹β€‹πŸŒŸ Our 60PP Feast (Two people stuffed!!!)​​ 🐟 ​​Salt Cod Churros​​ - Fried cod fritters with a slightly salty kick, but the dipping sauce SAVED it!!! πŸ¦ͺ ​​Mussel Pil Pil​​ - Bread base with mussels (smelled spicy but wasn't!!!). A bit too oily for my taste but still delicious!!! (Shared one between two - worth trying!) πŸ‡ ​​Rabbit Pappardelle​​ - Cheese pasta with JUST the right amount of cheesiness (unlike those heavy cream versions!!!). Rabbit was a fun twist!!! (Warning: Very filling - we were 70% full after this!!!) πŸ‘ ​​Lamb Shoulder​​ - Magical mint-infused slow-cooked lamb (so tender!!!). Served with stuffed Turkish peppers (skipped the peppers but they smelled amazing!!!) 🐟 ​​Lemon Sole​​ - Never tried this fish before!!! Crispy outside, juicy inside, with a hint of sourness (tasted like Yunnan cuisine!!!). Paired with sweet strawberries - weird but GENIUS combo!!! β€‹β€‹πŸ“ Location:​​ Morchella, Clerkenwell (perfect spot between Angel & Farringdon!!!) ​​Final Thoughts:​​ This place is a RARE find in London's competitive food scene!!!
