4-Day Toronto City Walk 🏙️🌉
🌊 Centre Island A charming island only accessible by ferry—though we were surrounded by Indian families the entire trip (seriously, saw almost no other tourists!). ✅ Scenic views of the Toronto skyline & CN Tower (great photo ops!) ☔ Our visit was foggy/drizzly... so we had to "imagine" perfect shots! 🥃 Distillery District A hip, historic neighborhood with: 🧱 Exposed brick alleys 🍷 Cozy wine bars 🎨 Boutique design shops Smaller than expected but oozing charm! 🎓 University of Toronto 🏛️ Gorgeous century-old architecture 🌳 Tree-lined paths perfect for strolling 🎓 Caught graduation season—so many proud parents flying in from China for cap-toss photos! 🥡 Chinatown & Beyond 🍜 Overwhelming Chinese food options (even our Airbnb host said: "You can live here speaking only Chinese!") 🚌 Met a FlixBus driver using Google Maps in Chinese while telling passengers: "This stop, get off bus!"—Toronto’s immigrant hustle is real! 🌆 Downtown 🏙️ Skyscrapers + dazzling night lights After years in Europe’s slow-paced towns, the big-city energy felt intense! 🧳 Final Thoughts Toronto = diverse, convenient, and welcoming... but we still prefer Europe’s "sip coffee for 3 hours" vibe. 📌 Next up: Toronto’s museums! Stay tuned~ 🍁 Why You’ll Love This Route: ✅ Mix of nature + urban grit ✅ Cultural immersion without leaving downtown ✅ Foodie paradise with global flavors 🔥 Pro Tip: Wear comfy shoes—you’ll walk 20K+ steps daily! #TorontoTravel #UToronto #CentreIsland #ExploreCanada #CityWalk #GraduationSeason #ImmigrantStories #ChinatownEats
