Hyatt Regency Vancouver Review|Business Trip Stay

📍 Check-In Efficient front desk – Smooth check-in at 12 PM. Festive lobby with Christmas decorations (lots of kids around). Globalist perk: Corner room (#3201) on the 32nd floor with a balcony – harbor + city views! 🛏️ Room (Mixed Feelings) ✔ Good: Well-maintained despite the dated exterior. Balcony = perfect for coffee & chilling (not too cold lately). ❌ Bad: No free water – Minibar charges $6.5/bottle (tap water was bubbly/cloudy 😬). No slippers/toiletries (must call for them). Bed too soft & high – Like sinking into a marshmallow (backache alert!). 🍽️ Dining ✔ Breakfast (2nd floor): Solid omelets + fresh blueberries. Good coffee. ❌ Dinner (Avoid!): Sad salad (straight from the fridge). Low-quality burger patty (massive but tasted like freezer aisle). Cold fries + stomachache later. Verdict: Even White Spot is better—go eat elsewhere in Vancouver! 🏋️ Gym & Pool Gym: Minimal equipment + mystery shoe odor 🦶. Pull-down machine was greasy (black stains on hands…). Pool: Outdoor (!!) with a hot tub – "polar plunge" vibes in winter. Brave souls only. 💁 Service Friendly staff everywhere – Smiles and helpfulness all around. 💰 Worth It? $100-200/night? Fine for business. $1000+ during events? Hard pass (unless expensed). #Vancouver #HyattRegency #HotelReview #BusinessTravel #WinterStay #SkipTheDinner
