London|Possibly This Year's Top Michelin Star Pick ⭐️

Thanks to a friend's recommendation, we tried 📍St Barts for their Signature Lunch Menu (£140)—two extra courses + pre-dessert compared to the short menu. Verdict? Absolute perfection. This might be my favorite Michelin-starred meal (and restaurant in general) this year—already planning to return for dinner! ⏳ Duration: 2 hours 😋 Rating: 4.5/5 Every dish, from snacks to dessert, maintained stellar quality (4/5 or higher). Such consistency is rare—hence the 4.5! 🍽️ Course Breakdown 🍘 Snacks 🫶🏻 Duck liver mousse - Top 3 I've ever had! 🫶🏻 Wagyu & prawn toast - Unexpectedly tasted like pork floss (in the best way). 🐚 Scallops & Pork 🫶🏻 Genius combo—sliced scallop + pork belly layered like savory jelly. Sweet paprika, umami, and salty richness = magic. 🐙 Octopus 👍🏻 Charred exterior, sticky-tender texture. White cream sauce was the MVP! 🦞 Lobster 👍🏻 The bisque was so thick and luscious, I wanted a whole bowl! 🐟 Dover Sole 👍🏻 Fish was standard, but the mushroom-bacon sauce stole the show—next-level surf & turf. 🐑 Hogget (Lamb) 👍🏻 Looked questionable ("white people lamb" fear), but the rich sauce + quinoa masked any gaminess—even my anti-lamb friend approved! 🍨 Desserts 🫶🏻 Ricotta & Honey Lavender - So good, I finished them despite being stuffed! 🍘 Madeleine - Warm, buttery farewell. 📍 Address: St Bart's, 63 Bartholomew Cl, London EC1A 7BF 💰 Menus: Short Lunch: £90 Dinner: £160 💸 Our Bill: ~£170pp (with drinks) #LondonFineDining #MichelinStarLondon #StBarts #MichelinFoodie #LuxuryEats #LondonFoodGuide
