Moltaqa Moroccan Restaurant –Exotic Flavors & Fire!

🔥 Big News This Month: Our queen’s birthday celebration led us to Moltaqa, a vibrant Moroccan feast with live music, belly dancing, and flaming theatrics! 🎉 Why You’ll Love It ✅ Live Entertainment: Handsome musicians (though my photo made them look like they were grilling kebabs 😂). Belly dancer + "moth accompanist" (yes, a real moth joined the party 🦋). ✅ Food & Drinks: Free appetizers: Warm bread + 2 types of Moroccan soup. Cocktails: Surprisingly good (we ordered randomly, no regrets!). ✅ Fire Show! The "Flame Queen" (our server) dramatically lit up our lamb chops & duck tableside—juicy and perfectly charred. 🍽️ What We Ordered 1. Moroccan Salad Platter 🥗 Mixed greens, eggplant, carrots—flavorful but some bites were pure salt 🧂. 2. Chicken Bastilla 🥧 Dry & underwhelming (chicken + nuts in filo dough). Skip it. 3. Flaming Lamb Chops 🔥 🍖 Winner! Tender, smoky, with roasted potatoes & carrots. ⚠️ Sauce alert: The bottom layer is super tangy (love it or leave it). 4. Fire Duck 🦆 Same fire treatment, same deliciousness. 📍 Details Address: 1002 Mainland St, Vancouver Vibe: Energetic, great for groups or dates. Price: Mid-range (worth it for the experience). #MoroccanVibes #BirthdayFeast
