Recommended Chinese Restaurants in Qatar

Great Wall Restaurant might just be Doha’s hidden gem for authentic Chinese food—but I fell in love with their Zhajiangmian!!! The fried sauce is super authentic, paired with hand-pulled noodles, shredded cucumber, carrots, egg strips, and bean sprouts. One bowl is enough for two people! Later, I found out the owner is from Xi’an—no wonder it tasted like a carb-loaded trip back to the Tang Dynasty. I hereby reclaim my title as the Queen of Carbs. Also highly recommend their Youpo Noodles —after all, the owner is from Xi’an. Today, I tried Dry-Fried Green Beans and Ants Climbing a Tree—both packed with wok hei (that smoky wok flavor!). Unlike Sichuan-style green beans, these weren’t fried too dry, keeping their natural juiciness and freshness. And the fermented black beans in it? Chef’s kiss. The minced chicken was so fragrant I literally cleaned the plate (see Pic 5). Other Must-Try Chinese Restaurants (Sichuan Edition) 1️⃣ Three Peppers – Mala Tang (DIY dipping sauce with Cuihong chili flakes) / Mala Xiang Guo 2️⃣ Little Bear’s Kitchen – Sichuan Grilled Fish / Thai Basil Pork Rice (my most-visited spot!) 3️⃣ Bamboo House – Hunan Stir-Fried Pork (though they skip the black beans now) / Seafood Maocai (so good!) #IDontWantToWork #QatariCuisine #QatarFoodExploration #ChineseFoodInQatar #PostMealBubbleTeaTime
