Hey, foodies! I'm back with another review of a hidden gem in Doha. This time, I visited Three Peppers, a Chinese restaurant that offers budget-friendly and authentic dishes. Here's what I ordered and what I thought of them:
Spicy king fish pot: This was my favorite dish of the night. The fish was tender and flaky, and the sauce was spicy and flavorful. It had a lot of vegetables and mushrooms in it, too. I loved dipping my rice in the sauce and enjoying the heat. Stir fried beans with glass noodles: This was a simple but satisfying dish. The beans were crunchy and fresh, and the glass noodles were soft and chewy. The seasoning was light and balanced, not too salty or oily. Chinese noodle: This was a classic noodle dish with chicken, carrots, cabbage, and spring onions. The noodles were cooked well and had a nice texture. The chicken was tender and juicy, and the vegetables added some crunch and color. Fried rice: This was a standard fried rice with eggs, peas, corn. It was fluffy and tasty, but nothing too special. I would have liked some more flavor or spice in it. Bao bun: This was a soft and fluffy bun filled with sweet and savory beef & chicken. The meat was moist and tender, and the bun was warm and pillowy. It was a nice contrast to the spicy dishes. Tofu: This was a deep-fried tofu dish with a sweet and sour sauce. The tofu was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the sauce was tangy and sticky. It was a good appetizer to share.
The ambiance of the restaurant was vibrant and lively. There were a lot of people dining there, and the service was fast and friendly. The decor was modern and colorful, with some Chinese elements. The music was upbeat and catchy, creating a fun atmosphere.
Overall, I had a great experience at Three Peppers. The food was delicious and affordable, and the ambiance was enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves Chinese food or wants to try something new. It's one of the best Chinese restaurants in Doha,...

Read moreIf you're looking for authentic Chinese food, look no further and visit @threepeppersrestaurant. Their menu is huge with so many options under Beef, Chicken, Lamb, Seafood, Dumplings and Hot Pot.
We started with their Steamed Dumplings filled with Shrimp, Egg and Chives. Served with sides of chilli oil, ginger vinegar, jalapeños and soy sauce. Very simple dish but delicious and filling.
For the main course we got the Sizzling Beef with Black Pepper, incredibly tender pieces of beef with a very umami sauce served with mixed vegetables. Also tried the Sauted Beef with Eggs and Black Fungus, also super soft pieces of beef with a nice combination of eggs and mushroom, the sauce was similar to the sizzling beef but not as thick. For the side dishes we got a simple Stir Fried Vegetables and Steamed Rice.
I'm definitely going to have to come again a few more times to try more of their dishes.
