Loyly A very famous spot in Helsinki to experience a snow sauna So basically, it's a place where people go to check in Book in advance on the official website, as it's usually fully booked Two hours for 23€ (it has increased from 21€ before) At first, I didn't plan on going into the sea I'm not that brave But watching people around me go in one by one I couldn't resist either Since I've come all this way, I have to give it a try I'll have something to brag about later First, I went to the sauna to steam and get warm When I first went in My legs went numb But after staying for a while, I felt my blood circulation speed up 🏖️I immediately went into the seaside sauna after coming out It was quite refreshing, indeed Strangely enough After this ordeal, I didn't have a runny nose anymore My skin felt better too ❄️It's very similar to the Japanese hot-cold-warm bath experience I met a guy from Harvard in the sauna He said many athletes use ice baths It can reduce swelling in the joints and enhance metabolism #TheBraveEnjoyTheWorldFirst #Nordic #Finland #SnowSauna #WinterSwimming #Sauna #FinnishSauna #NordicLife
