๐ŸŒบใ€6 Days 5 Nightsใ€‘Family Trip to Honolulu, Hawaii with Kids

๐Ÿ– Day 1: Arrival in Honolulu Took an Uber from the airport to Waikiki โ€” less than 30 mins, around $40. Stayed at Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa for the first 4 nights. Great location: Steps from the beach ๐Ÿ–๏ธ and main street! Service was mediocre (they even lost my brand new Alo shirt ๐Ÿ˜ค) Not the best value: $2000 for 4 nights. ๐Ÿ’ก Book hotels early! Last-minute = expensive & limited options. ๐ŸŒŠ Day 2: Beach + Shopping Planned Pearl Harbor, but the kids just wanted the beach ๐Ÿ‘ถ. Played at the beach all morning โ†’ headed to Ala Moana Center (largest mall on the island) โ†’ then back to the beach for more sand fun ๐Ÿ˜‚. โœ… Conclusion: Traveling with kids = let them lead the way! ๐Ÿ Day 3: Dole Plantation + Kualoa Ranch Dole Plantation: Took the train tour ๐Ÿš‚ (saw pineapples, cacao, coffee plants). Too hot โ˜€๏ธ, experience was just okay. Kualoa Ranch (Highly recommend! โœ…): Movie sites tour ๐ŸŽฅ โ€” stunning mountain and ocean views! ๐ŸŒŠโ›ฐ๏ธ Kids loved it too. โฐ Arrive 45 mins early for check-in. ๐Ÿ  Day 4: Hanauma Bay Snorkeling Booked tickets online 2 days in advance at 7 AM ๐ŸŽซ โ€” got a 10 AM slot. Rented gear: mask + snorkel + fins = ~$60. Watched a short eco-video ๐ŸŽฌ โ†’ shuttle to the beach. Kids had a blast! Note: Closed 3 days a week for conservation. โ˜€๏ธโš ๏ธ SUNSCREEN IS A MUST! No umbrellas allowed โ€” I got badly sunburned and woke up in pain at night ๐Ÿ˜ญ. ๐Ÿฌ Day 5: Kahala Hotel & Resort (โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ) Switched hotels โ€” Kahala Hotel ($800/night ๐Ÿ’ธ but worth it!). Got a free upgrade to ocean-front room ๐ŸŒŠ! Private beach ๐Ÿ๏ธ with calm waves โ€” perfect for kids. Dolphin interaction program available (45 mins โ†’ $320). Only regret: We stayed only one night! ๐Ÿ’ก Stay here in the middle of your trip to fully enjoy. โœˆ๏ธ Day 6: Flight Back Hawaiian Airlines: New planes + meals included ๐Ÿฑ. United: Old planes + only snacks/drinks ๐Ÿฅค. Better to pack food for the flight! ๐Ÿ“Œ Final Tips: โ˜€๏ธ SUNSCREEN!!! (I peeled badly) ๐ŸŽซ Book snorkeling tickets in advance ๐Ÿจ Book hotels early ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘ง Best for kids: Kualoa Ranch + Kahala Hotel #HawaiiWithKids #Honolulu #Oahu #Waikiki #HanaumaBay #KahalaResort #FamilyTravel ๐ŸŒด๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ’ฆ
