【Brussels】Sharing is Caring 🥂
Restaurant: senzanome A very pretty and delicious lunch It was supposed to be a business meal, but we ended up talking a lot about the client’s views on love and life, especially the phrase “Sharing is Caring” which struck me instantly. For a family to go the distance, he said he believes there are three points: 1. Love and responsibility 2. Stability 3. Being able to be oneself 💛He said that everything stems from love; he believes it should all be pure and from the heart, thinking it’s right or wrong. 💛Love is something ingrained in our genes 🧬; it’s the most essential thing. When something goes against your heart and makes you uncomfortable, it’s not right. 💛But life can’t be achieved in one fell swoop; many things require taking small steps and slowly, and a lot of balance is needed, but the only constant is the love in your heart. 💛He said he wants to do something to make the world a better place. Although he knows he can’t change much, he can start with small things and at least confidently say “I have tried.” 💛He firmly believes that there is a highest court of love in heaven, and he kept emphasizing to me that he is convinced it exists. Although I know these words are idealistic, in this complex social environment, having seen so much of human nature and complicated matters, seeing such a pure and determined gaze in his eyes still touched me deeply. I asked him, “How did you find the direction you firmly believe in and know that this is the meaning and value of your life? Because contemporary us are very confused; we don’t know what we want. We are just surviving in this environment but are powerless to think and explore. I’ve even been avoiding these questions.” He said, “It took me thirty years to find it, so don’t rush. Take it slow. As you experience and take small steps, you might just understand.” #Belgium #Brussels #Food
