γLondonγThe Hype Around Dozo, the Affordable Japanese Restaurant
Overall, π don't set your expectations too high, folks! Let's start with the good stuff. The eel rice is pretty popular lately π₯ and it's actually quite tasty! It's on the sweeter side, with a generous amount of sauce and the eel has a nice texture. Plus, there seems to be a special event going on recently! π The beef skewers are juicy and tender, and they taste really good! π Then there's their signature Volcano Roll. I think it's best eaten hot; otherwise, it gets really greasy because of the abundant sauce. (It's both good and bad.) Personally, I don't think it's as amazing as people say; it's just okay. π The Rainbow Roll is a no-go for me. My sushi-loving friend only managed to eat one and laughed about it. Hahaha! The tempura is a bit oily, but the portions are good and the pieces are pretty big. You can give it a try! π€ The scallion chicken skewers, though... Oh my god! π€’ When did the chicken in π¬π§ start smelling bad? I guess it was just bad luck, and the restaurant's quality can be inconsistent. My friend said it was delicious and tender, so be cautious when ordering. π΄: DOZO soho π°: For two people, we spent an average of Β£50, but we ordered a lot. Normally, it should be around Β£30 per person. #UK #London #food #LondonFood #EatingOut #LondonLife #BritishFood #JapaneseCuisine #LondonJapanese
