【Must-Visit】Stanserhorn Open-Air Cable Car🇨🇭

I had already purchased an SBB saver day pass and randomly chose a destination, only to find out it was the first day of spring operations (4/12/2025)! I finally got to experience the Stanserhorn open-air cable car, which I had been wanting to try for a long time. 🎢 Trip there: Basel 🚄 Lucerne 🚄 Stans 🚂 Kälti 🚠 Stanserhorn (The saver day pass or GA covers everything—it's really worth it!) Trip back: I returned the same way. (There are actually several hiking trails from Stans to Stanserhorn. It seems like the locals prefer to hike up, but I'm just a regular tourist on a day trip.) 🧳 The little train has limited capacity, so you might need to wait in line for a bit. However, once the train arrives, you can seamlessly transfer to the open-air cable car. The connection is excellent, and along the way, you'll pass through a field of yellow flowers! 🌼 The open-air cable car is truly unique. The weather was great today, and I brought my new toy, the Insta360, to capture the 360-degree views of the snow-capped mountains and lakes. 📸 Right outside the cable car station, there's a large viewing platform where you can grab a meal or a coffee. Of course, you can also just take photos while enjoying the stunning scenery and delicious food—it's really relaxing! ☕️ If you don't feel like hiking, just walk a few steps up the trail, and you'll find several other viewing platforms. You can see the endless snow-capped mountains behind you in a 180-degree panoramic view, or you can look ahead to the panoramic view of Lucerne and Lake Lucerne.
