ใVietnam - Nha TrangใLazy Traveler's Guide to Free and Easy Travel ๐ถโ
Background: Picking up from the previous post, disembarking from the cruise ship. Nha Trang is perfectly accessible by taxi for a self-guided tour, no need for language skills or a chartered car. Transportation: Plenty of taxis at the airport and pier, and the taxi app Grab is available for cash payments. ๐๐ธ Nha Trang pier is small and a bit dilapidated. If you're coming from a domestic cruise ship, disembarking will be slow. Ships can only anchor offshore and send small boats to pick you up. Must-visit attractions: Start from the pier and travel from south to north (you can also play in reverse order). Recommended route for self-driving, I took a chartered car similar to self-driving. ๐๐ There is a UnionPay supported ATM right across from Nha Trang Cathedral where you can withdraw money directly. ๐ง๐ต Safety: I'm actually too lazy to write about this. I've been to N cities in Southeast Asia without any safety issues. I don't know why there's been a smear campaign against Southeast Asia since last year. ๐๐ก๏ธ Nha Trang Cathedral (Free) ๐ฐ A famous local attraction that takes a lunch break! Pay attention to the time. There's a great three-story coffee shop opposite (see picture), selling milk tea and Vietnamese coffee, cash only. โ๐ต If you're like me and don't care about eating, you can go to KFC opposite the church. Our main focus is the attraction, right. ๐ Long Son Pagoda (Free) ๐ It's very close to the church, a few minutes by car, but it takes about half an hour to climb up the mountain. There are many motorbikes below that charge about 30 per person for a round trip. ๐๏ธ๐ต There's a large Buddha statue on the top overlooking the whole of Nha Trang. The temple at the bottom is also good. Remember not to wear revealing clothes to enter. ๐๐ โโ๏ธ Po Nagar Cham Towers (Affordable Fee) ๐๏ธ This place is similar to a temple. It's about a 15-minute drive and has its own characteristics. You can go in and have a look. It's a must-visit attraction with great photo opportunities outside. ๐ธ Hon Chong Promontory (Affordable Fee) ๐ About a 15-minute drive from Po Nagar Cham Towers, it's recommended to drive along the coast. There are many wild beaches with no one around, great for photos, and close to nature. I went to one and posted some pictures. ๐๏ธ๐ท When you arrive at Hon Chong Promontory, it's a small scenic area, but you can see the scenery with a wide-angle view, which is quite good. There are also exhibition halls with exhibits, and performances inside. It's not crowded and very comfortable. You can walk down the rocks to a small path on the sea, which is covered with huge rocks. You can see the surrounding Nha Trang coastline in 360 degrees, and the scenery is beautiful. ๐๐ Nha Trang Beach (Free) ๐๏ธ If you're heading back to the pier, you'll pass this vast beach. If you're traveling freely, the beach can be before the church, it's a straight line on the way. This beach is very lively, with many locals and children, as well as many foreigners in bikinis. It's very comfortable. If you have enough time, it's recommended to stay a bit longer! ๐๐จโ๐ฉโ๐งโ๐ฆ I've posted pictures for all of the above, see you in the comments if you have any questions! ๐ข #VietnamTravel #VietnamFreeAndEasy #NhaTrangGuide #OffTheBeatenPath #WhereToGoInWinter #NewYear #TravelDiary #CruiseTravel #ResidenseWorld #ChinaMerchantsYitun #ChinaMerchantsShekouCruisePort #FamilyTravel #ParentChildTravel
