【Where to Go on the Weekend】 Cox Farms 2024 is Open!!

🌽 Kids 2 and under get in free, closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. 🌽 The Cox Farms Fall Festival starts this weekend! We’ve been going for 3 years in a row. Since it’s the first week, there aren’t many people, and the most popular slide hardly has a line. It’s open until November 5th, with tickets ranging from $10 to$25 per person. The cheapest is during the week, so make sure to buy your tickets online in advance! There’s a kiddie zone, but overall, I don’t think it’s super suitable for the little ones. 🎢👶 🌽 I recommend going early when they open because it gets very crowded on popular weekends. Make sure to take the hayride first, or you might have to wait a while. The hayride lasts about 20 minutes with some interaction along the way. The setup is nice, but it’s pretty much the same every year. 🚜🍂 🌽 The most fun part is the slides, with the Dino slide being the most thrilling. The past two years, we didn’t let 🌰 try it, but this year she conquered all the slides. Besides the Dino slide, the other slides are pretty similar, just with different names. 🎢👏 🌽 Apart from the big slides, there are also smaller slides scattered around, similar to an outdoor playground. There’s an area where you can pet and feed sheep. Plus, there’s a corn maze and a trail in the woods. I think the setup is great. There are quite a few activities that kids love. 🐑🌳 🌽 One of the highlights is the free apple cider and apples to eat. On your way out, you can take a pumpkin with each wristband. Overall, I think it’s a great experience, and the kids are happy. We played from 11 am until 3 pm before leaving. 🍎🎃 🌽 At night, they also have the Fields of Fear event. But our kid goes to bed early, and I think she might get scared, so we haven’t been yet. You can search for other people’s experiences! 🌙👻 #dmv #WeekendActivities #WeekendWithKids #Coxfarms
