๐Ÿ”๏ธ 48 Hours in Denver | A Spontaneous Travel & Food PLOT

Flew in from San Francisco to see Martin Garrix at Red Rocks ๐ŸŽต! Since I probably wonโ€™t be back in Denver anytime soon, I made the most of a weekend exploring and eating my way through the city. Day 1โƒฃ๏ธ | City Walk ๐Ÿ™๏ธ Our hotel was super conveniently located โ€” everything was within walking distance: โœ… Colorado State Capitol โœ… Denver Art Museum โœ… Big Blue Bear ๐Ÿป โœ… Union Station โœ… REI Flagship Store In the afternoon, we drove out to Garden of the Gods ๐Ÿœ๏ธ. Took almost 2 hours with traffic from downtown ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ. Short on time, we skipped the trails and just snapped some photos โ€” you can see the highlights in under an hour! Day 2๏ธโƒฃ | Rocky Mountain National Park ๐Ÿ”๏ธ We first drove to the cute mountain town of Estes Park โ€” lots of snack spots and souvenir shops ๐Ÿ›๏ธ. From there, it was only 30 minutes to Bear Lake. Lucky us โ€” we visited on a government shutdown day, so the park was FREE! ๐ŸŽ‰ If you're short on time, just hike around Bear Lake. Itโ€™s super flat, beginner-friendly, and takes about an hour to loop. Perfect for a quick nature dose! ๐ŸŒฒ ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Food & Drinks Highlights Aloy Modern Thai ๐Ÿ› ๐Ÿ“ 2134 Larimer St, Denver, CO 80205 Ranked #24 out of Denverโ€™s Top 50 restaurants. Service was great, but the flavors were just okay โ€” nothing blew my mind. You can choose your spice level ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ โ€” if youโ€™re not a heat lover, stick to level 2 or 3. Milk Tea People ๐Ÿฅค ๐Ÿ“ 1641 Market St, Denver, CO 80202 A popular spot for boba, but be warned โ€” their matcha drinks are around $9.99 ๐Ÿ’ธ. We tried the Uji Matcha and Orange Blossom Matcha โ€” the foam was surprisingly delicious, rich but not too sweet. Worth a try if youโ€™re feeling fancy! Stellar Jay ๐ŸŒŸ Located on the rooftop of the Populus Hotel. Great city views and a chic vibe โ€” perfect for dates ๐Ÿ’‘. Surprisingly packed on a weekend night! We blindly ordered four dishes, and all were better than expected. But heads up โ€” we didnโ€™t ask the price of the tomahawk steak beforehandโ€ฆ ended up spending $300+ for two ๐Ÿ’”. Not the best value, but the atmosphere was ๐Ÿ‘Œ. #Denver #DenverTravel #Colorado #ColoradoEats #DenverFood #BayAreaWeekends #USWeekendGetaway #Thanksgiving #ThanksgivingTravels ๐Ÿฆƒโœจ
