🍽️ 5-Day Denver Food Diary + Personal Reviews 🏔️
They say Denver is a food desert — and after visiting, I kinda get it. But there were still a few pleasant surprises! Here’s my personal take, listed in the order I tried them during my trip: 1️⃣ Moobongri Soondae First meal after landing! Beef Rib Soup: Warm, aromatic, and comforting 🍖🍲 Spicy Pork Spine Stew: Huge portion, fall-off-the-bone tender — but hard to drink the broth with all the meat in the way 😅 Perfect for recovering after arriving at high altitude! 💨➕💪 2️⃣ The Art Hotel Stayed here to use my AMEX credit — $100 dinner voucher + $60 breakfast credit! Dinner: Steak was nicely cooked 🥩, Brussels sprouts with pomegranate yogurt were tender and tasty Breakfast Burrito: Loved it! Crispy tortilla with a subtle steak aroma — ate the whole thing! 🫔 Tea Service: They bring a beautiful box of tea bags to choose from + a cute jar of honey 🍯🫖 3️⃣ Himalayan Curry & Kebob (Estes Park) Garlic Naan: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thin, crispy, slightly sweet — a must-order! Lamb Curry & Butter Chicken: Okay, but not memorable 4️⃣ Smokin Dave‘s BBQ Post-hike lifesaver! ⛰️🍗 3-Meat Combo ($26): Beef + ribs + half chicken — all tender, not salty (rare for American BBQ!) $5 Side Salad: Fresh greens never tasted so good 🥗🙏 5️⃣ Omelette Parlor Ate before riding the Pike Peak Cog Railway 🚞 Thunderbird Omelette: Egg wrap → thin pancake → fillings, topped with green chili pork sauce. Weird combo… but weirdly good! 🤤 6️⃣ Seoul K-BBQ Beef Rib Soup: Even better than Moobongri’s! 🐮❤️ BBQ: Ribeye + short rib — fresh and flavorful Tip: For two people, one soup + one BBQ plate is plenty! 7️⃣ O Lien Pho: Solid, but not mind-blowing 🍜 8️⃣ North Italia Ate before returning the rental car 🚗 Pizza: Tasty crust — a decent pick! 🍕 #DenverEats #FoodDiary #ComfortFood #BBQ #KoreanFood #TravelEats #HighAltitudeEats
