Flew 12 hours from Hong Kong to LA (16 back—window seats = constipation alert! 🚨). Despite the long haul, the U.S. delivered the best trip vibes this year. 🏡 Housing Hack Plan A: Company-budget hotel near Anaheim Convention Center (*$150/night*). Plot twist: Teammate bailed—last-minute hotels near Disneyland were *$300+/night*! 😱 Savior: A Chinese landlord in Arcadia/El Monte (safer + cheaper). Private-bathroom villa room (thanks to a friend’s referral!). Bonus: Landlord drove us to Target (we don’t drive—lifesaver!). 🍜 Food Wins Trade show eats = sad chicken salads/tacos 🌮… until we found Chinese spots nearby ( saved!). ☀️ Cali Mood Boost Sunshine therapy = instant happiness.
