🍑 Found a hidden gem of a Korean restaurant near Anaheim! And I mean a real treasure! As soon as I walked in, I noticed almost everyone was Korean—I knew I’d come to the right place. The spot has that classic Korean vibe. The manager told me it’s a family restaurant run by a mother and son. You can really feel the heart and soul they put into the food. 🥘 You MUST order the 【Braised Beef Short Rib】 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 It beats Sunnongdan in both price and flavor! The beef is so tender it falls right off the bone. And don’t forget to add cheese—sooo good! The dish comes with plenty of side ingredients too—the pumpkin and potatoes are absolutely delicious. You can choose between spicy and non-spicy options. It’s labeled as a portion for two, but honestly, it could feed three. Highly recommend! 🥘 【Brisket Tteokbokki】 We added ramen and cheese to ours. It even comes with two mini fried dumplings 🥟—so tasty! The flavor is that classic sweet-spicy Korean gochujang sauce, but it’s only mildly spicy. The combo of rice cakes and fish cakes never disappoints, and there’s plenty of beef too. So satisfying! 🍛 【Jalapeno Cheese Curry Katsu】 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Okay, this was my first time trying stuffed katsu—and wow! The katsu paired with jalapeno is a match made in heaven. Add cheese to the mix, and it’s irresistible! Five-star recommendation! 🍲 【Pork Simmer Soup】 A light, comforting soup that isn’t greasy. It’s made with pork shoulder and belly. You can dip the pork in spicy sauce for an extra kick—pretty nice! ✅ Final thoughts: This is one of the few restaurants that even my picky teammate loved! Make sure to go early on weekends—there was already a line forming by the time we finished. ⚠️ Also, they’re open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays! Perfect for a late-night snack 🍽️. The manager mentioned they use a special, high-quality charcoal to melt the cheese for their grilled short ribs—it really lets the smoky flavor seep into the meat, making it extra rich. You won’t find this anywhere else!
