🍽️ Asheville Day Trip Foodie Guide 🍺(・∀・)🍗
Visited Asheville again ✧︎。( ´︎•͈ω•͈∩︎` )✧︎。 This was a quick work trip, so I only had one day—started a food crawl at 3 PM and hit 5 restaurants + 5 breweries! Since there’s not much talk about drinks on Xiaohongshu, I’ll skip the breweries and focus on the food 😉 1️⃣ Ukiah Japanese Smokehouse Very American-style Japanese food. ❌ Not a fan of their ramen or the meat dishes. ✅ But the grilled fish was absolutely delicious! 🐟 2️⃣ La Bodega by Cúrate HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! 🐙 The octopus was stunning—so tender and flavorful! 🥓 Their ham was also much more aromatic than other Spanish restaurants. A must-try! 3️⃣ The Lobster Trap 🦪 The “Mookie Blues” oysters were INCREDIBLE! Fresh, plump, and so satisfying. 4️⃣ Wicked Weed Brewing Pub 🍻 Downstairs is the taproom—perfect in winter with overhead heaters! Sipping cold beer under warm air with occasional breezes = pure bliss ❄️🔥 5️⃣ Red Ginger Dimsum & Tapas As a Cantonese food lover, I’d recommend their Stir-Fried Beef Ho Fun 🐂 🔥 It has strong wok hei (breath of the wok)! Though the seasoning leans Western, it’s incredibly fragrant and well-cooked. A delicious and efficient day of eating in Asheville!
