ποΈ Beautiful Hotel, Inconsistent Service | The Roosevelt Review
I booked a 2-night stay using points at The Roosevelt Hotel. Letβs start with the positives β architecturally, itβs a stunning property π°β¨. The amenities are great, our room was spacious, and it included tea and coffee facilities β everything met our expectations β ποΈ. As a Hilton Honors Gold member, we received a $50 credit per night, which basically covered our breakfast at the hotel β a nice perk! π₯π³ The location is fantastic, just a 5-minute walk from the French Quarter entrance πΆβοΈπ·. Yes, Canal Street can be noisy at night, but thatβs expected in the heart of the city ππ’. Now for the downsides β there were a few. We were told umbrellas would be available in the room (important since it poured during our stay π§οΈ), but there were none when we arrived π. Our check-in experience felt a bit off β while most staff were lovely, the lady who checked us in seemed new and the process was somewhat confusing and lengthy π§β³. Also, when we arrived around 8:30 PM from the airport, no one offered to help with our luggage up the stairs β pretty surprising for a hotel of this caliber π§³π«. #TheRooseveltNOLA #MixedExperience #HiltonHonors #BeautifulBut #ServiceSlip #GoldPerk #FrenchQuarterAccess #HotelReview
