☕️✨ Easter-Themed Afternoon Tea | Super Instagrammable! ✨📸
I didn’t have high expectations going in because, let’s be honest, afternoon tea desserts are usually way too sweet. 😅 I mainly went for the gorgeous views and the vibe of having a proper afternoon tea experience. 🧈 But wow, was I wrong! The food was actually delicious, especially the scones with that butter-like cream—it was so good, you could dip a flip-flop in it, and it’d taste amazing! 🥄✨ The strawberry jam was also refreshing and not overly sweet. Easter Specials: 🥕 Carrot Cake with Fondant Carrots: Unlike any carrot cake I’ve had before—the sponge was bouncy and chewy yet soft and fluffy. 🐰 Rabbit Chocolate Macaron: Melted in my mouth! A bit sweet for me, but my friend loved it. 🍓 Strawberry Tart Lookalike: Similar to M&S’s strawberry tart but with a crispier crust. 🍫 Chocolate Mousse Sphere: The sweetest of the four, but still delightful. 🥪 Sandwiches: Four flavors—egg, cucumber, smoked salmon, and curry chicken. All were tasty, though the curry chicken was a bit adventurous (my friend wasn’t a fan 😅). The best part? You can refill the sandwiches endlessly! The staff kept coming by with trays asking, “More? More?” 🍵 Tea Selection: We tried the jasmine tea (a bit bitter but decent) and the aloe vera tea (absolutely amazing!! So fragrant and refreshing). 💕 Overall: This is one of the best afternoon teas I’ve had—not too sweet, great textures, and a stunning setting. For £66 per person, you get live piano music, excellent service, delicious treats, and a picture-perfect environment. Totally worth it! Even the grandpa sitting next to me was enjoying his solo tea time—sometimes treating yourself to something nice is just what you need! 🎹💖 📍 The Landmark London #AfternoonTea #UKLife #LondonLife #LondonFood #UKFoodie #FoodDiary #BritishEats
