Originally planned to visit the Windy City, but hotel prices were sky-high 😱… So we drove an hour north to Bucks territory instead! Before coming, I’d read reviews that made Milwaukee sound small and dated—but wow, was I surprised! It’s like a cleaner, cozier version of Chicago 🌆. With a population of 500,000, it’s far from tiny. You’ll find: ✅ Same gorgeous lakefront views ✅ Similar riverwalk vibes ✅ A stunning gradient skyline 🌊 On a windy day, Lake Michigan’s waves are wild—almost froze in summer! ❄️ Shoutout to the super friendly hotel staff who hooked us up with free breakfast vouchers 🥞—classic Midwestern hospitality! 🦞 Milwaukee Public Market is a must-visit! Lobster roll? Famous for a reason!But crab meat roll >> even softer, juicier, more flavorful!Stick lobster for $8.50? Could easily devour 10! 🍳 Brunch across the marketLocals sipping coffee & cocktails while waiting—chill vibes!Patatas Bravas Bowl = hearty & delicious (pro tip: ask for less salt if you prefer lighter flavors). ☀️ Next day breakfast inside the market Slightly pricier than the brunch spot but worth it for the variety!Felt like breakfast at a Chinese food market— nostalgic & lively.Favorite: Corned beef and veggie salad from the steak deli 🥩 + roasted veggies! 🍚 Dinner at Stone Bowl Skipped the popular Korean BBQ hotpot place (too late), ended up here—authentic bibimbap and tofu stew!Bonus: real squid (not octopus!) in the dish 🦑❌ Poke place failSecond late dinner = big regret.
