🍽️ I Want to Stay in Iceland Just to Eat! 🍽️
🌮After my whale-watching adventure left my face numb from the Arctic winds, 🍦 nothing sounded better than something warm. 🍮 🌮The bread bowl soups at Icelandic Street Food were absolute perfection 🍦 - I ordered the fish soup but got to sample all three varieties (fish, lamb, and tomato). 🍮 🌮Each was incredibly flavorful and comforting. They even offer free waffles, but I was already stuffed from two bowls of soup! 🌮When rain suddenly poured after visiting the House of Collections, I ducked into the nearest restaurant, 🍝Íslenski Barinn. Their lobster hot dog featured perfectly crispy fried meat with a delicious sauce, 🍮 and the fresh catch of the day paired wonderfully with raw onion rings for a refreshing bite.🍝 🐟After descending from Hallgrímskirkja's tower, I randomly chose Loki Café - and what a happy accident! 🐟Their dishes were spectacular, especially the lamb soup that tasted exactly like my childhood memories. 🍮 🐟The lamb cheek was incredibly tender with no gaminess, and even their bread had a delightful date-cake texture. 🍝The Hlemmur Food Hall near my hotel became a nightly favorite after 8pm when it really came alive. 🍮 🐟Though tempted by Vietnamese pho, I ultimately went for authentic Mexican tacos - spicy, tangy perfection. 🍝Near Rainbow Street, a Thai restaurant (whose name escapes me but was full of Thai locals) 🍮 🐟served the most authentic tom yum soup that woke up all my taste buds.🍦 #IcelandicFood #ReykjavikEats #FoodieInIceland #TravelToTaste
